5Labello is worth a review!  Nov 25, 2005 By C. M. Caver
This is my first amazon review, but let me tell you Labello is well worth it. I got hooked on the stuff while I was living in France. I came home with several sticks, and now that I am running out I am extremely happy to know that it is available on amazon. I was actually going to send money to friends back in France to have them mail me more. Labello is the end all and be all of lip care. It doesn't leave you constantly needing more like other brands I've used. It just gives you this long lasting moisture. The classic flavor is very neutral too - it has no weird flavor or tingling sensation. You will NOT be disappointed in this product!

5The best  Jan 03, 2007 By qook
I've been looking for Nivea Lipcare balm all over the internet, because it's the only lip balm that actually WORKS and has no real taste or smell. I bought "Labello" based on the reviews and found out that it's actually "Nivea lipcare"! I don't know why Beiersdorf would sell the same product under different names in Europe and USA, but I'm greatly pleased I finally found it. Will definitely repurchase!

5Best Lip Balm ever  Jun 16, 2007 By V. Kumar "VijSeema"
I have been using these chapsticks (Lip Balms) for almost 8 years now. These are the best chapsticks ever. My lips survived in harsh winter of Germany, Switzerland and Baltimore (USA) because of these chapsticks. But they are much cheaper in Europe than in US.

5Works and works beautifully  Jan 27, 2006 By iconium
Canadian winters really give my lips a hard scraping each year. My lips usually become really dry and get chapped as soon as the fall fades. In winter they sometimes bleed. Labello is a true life saver for me since I've discovered it. It glides on easily and is fantastic at hydrating and protecting my lips. As long as your lips don't get too wet after you apply it, they are pratically immune from cold and wind and they stay that way for a good several hours.

This original formula has a light vanilla scent in the tube but is tasteless on the lips. It doesn't feel greasy at all.

One note of caution. I recommend against placing the tube in your jeans/pants pocket since the body heat tends to warm it up so much that eventually it falls apart during application. The inner pocket of a jacket or a purse is a much better idea.
