Best chutney we've ever had Sep 28, 2010
By SimonsSays We enjoy curries - English and East Indian. This chutney is the ideal addition! We think curry just isn't the same without it. We've tried soooo many others, and keep coming back to this brand. Thank God we can order it through Amazon - my husband and I order it by the case!

Major Grey's Mango Chutney Feb 23, 2011
By Robert R. Dale This is a delicious Major Grey's Mango Chutney. Absolutely top-drawer. It has great flavor and texture - - - a good solid chutney with no excess liquid in the jar. It has no bitter tang to it, and it also has a fine amount of good, solid pieces of mango. We're sticking with Sun Brand.

Perfect partner with any curry Apr 17, 2011
By Wayne A. Myers Tastes exactly like my first scoop of Major Grey's Chutney more than 50 years ago. I even enjoy a smear on a toasted English muffin.
Indescribably delicious Jan 20, 2012

Discovered this supremely fantastic chutney a long time ago in NYC, and it still remains the best mango chutney I've ever tried, by far. The texture is sublime, the taste is sweet without being cloying, and the versatility of this product is unparalled; it enhances any dish that's savory or spicy, it's not limited to Indian food although it does pair magnificently with that type of cuisine, of course. If you've tried the rest, now it's time to try the best.
